Fun & Romantic Date Ideas by blogger Casey
Jennifer Love Hewitt once said that “dating has taught me what I want and don’t want, who I am, and who I want to be.”
Dating is that stage before a relationship begins, when you and the other person are testing each other to see how much you have in common and if you could potentially be a match. However, if a relationship does form between the two of you, going on dates shouldn’t just end! Whether you have been together for a few months or a few years, spending organized time together doing fun and romantic activities is a great way to keep the romance alive and to make you feel more connected to your partner than ever before.
Here are a few ideas on potential dates you could go on!
1. Dinner and a movie. This one is a classic for a reason and is great for any stage in a relationship. Choose your favorite restaurant (go fancy or casual) and cozy up to a Rom Com at the local theatre for something extra special.
2. Go on a museum date. This is a great chance to talk about random things as you try to find the best (or worst!) art piece in the museum.
3. Take a cooking class. Food is the way to anyone’s heart, so why not let the romance heat up with a fun and informational class?
4. Go to the beach. With the weather finally turning nice, it’s the perfect time to hit the beach and enjoy the water and the sun, together!
5. Go to a sports game. Bond over your favorite sports team and pre-game with beer and great food.
6. See a comedy show. The couple that laughs together, stays together! Find a funny comedian in the area and settle down for a night of laughter!
7. Watch a sunset (or sunrise). Enjoy the most beautiful time of the day with the person you love most in the world. It’s also a great opportunity to take a million cute selfies together!
8. Stay in and cuddle. After a long day working, you both deserve some relaxation time. Stay inside all day and do nothing but enjoy each other’s company.
